THE BOO!

ADRIEN CREUSE a.k.a. THE BOO!

Once in a while a Dj comes along with a talent that stands out from the rest. And that Dj is The Boo. Dj Boo has the ability to take control of every crowd his spins for. His flawless turn table skills on top of and extensive knowledge of all types of the music, dating back to the sixties. Allows his musical insight to surfs, to in sight, to get any party he dj's started right.

I caught up with Dj The Boo for a quick interview before he rock the house at Sushi Samba
June 16, 2009.

Question: What brings you to Sushi Samba?
Answer: I'm here to bring to the people the new musical line that Sushi Samba wants it's customers to experience.

Question: What type of music do like to play?
Answer: Well that's my problem. I love every kind of music. I like to mix from soul to rock to house to dico. It's all about the feeling. As a dj you have to take care of the audience, the crowd. When the music is good all is right.

Question: What do you like to hear from the crowds you spin for?
Answer: I like it when people come to me and say, "that was really great"."That was really good music, I had a good time tonight". It's always nice when people come you and ask, what's that track, I loved it. And to make people discover some news stuff and also some old stuff they don't know.

Question: So what changes would you like to bring to Sushi Samba?
Answer:I would like to be them closer to where the spirit of the food comes from like South America and Japan. To bring the music to the same level as the food through muscial expression.

Question: How do you like Miami so far?
Answer:I've only been here 24 hours but so far so good.

Question: So where are you off to next?
Answer:My next trip is to Japan, touring for four weeks. I've been there twice before, it's really an amazing place to go.

Question: Do you plan to come back to Miami?
Answer:I don't know when I'll have the chance but I hope to come back soon.

DJ since 1995, The Boo leaves his imprint on the decks and in the minds of the most famous night life places.

Drum'n'bass DJ at first, his love for the music with a capital M got him on top of things since then.

The Boo has been rocking every kind of events for many years now: fashion, movie, sport, corporate... switching from glamorous pop to underground electronic music, from Balenciaga to Clark magazine to Playboy to the Amfar gala, his talent has exported him to New-York, Rio, Londres, Berlin or Tokyo.
