Kim D'amato created Priti Nails in 2005
with one simple mission: she wanted to find a way to beautify the planet through
while beautifying herself and other women at the same time. Since then, Priti has
been providing clients with the ultimate of-the-moment shades in nail polish trends
in an eco-friendly fashion. They are also completely safe for children and
moms-to-be to use.
Priti Nail offers polishes in over 100 different shades, including glossy, matte,
and metallic finishes. With bright neons, rich darks,
classic nudes, and everything
in between, limited color selection due to ecological restraints is now a thing of
the past. Priti also makes a biodegradable soy nail polish remover that leaves
hands and nails feeling moisturized and nourished with a sweet citrus scent- and
without the use of any acetone. The bottles used for packaging are also completely
recyclable.
Priti Polish is also active in working with various charities and events in the community that support both environmental and women's issues. Priti regularly collaborates with other socially-conscious companies and charities, including Urban Zen Foundation, Group for the East End’s Ecofabulous in the Hamptons event, and Teens Turning Green to develop a private label polish exclusively for Whole Foods Market. Priti also regularly participates and works with world-renowned designers for New York Fashion Week, including Donna Karan, Monique Lhuillier, Izaac Mizrahi, Carlos Miele, Tuleh, Thakoon, Proenza Schouler, Philosophy, Rachel Roy, Milly, Michon Schur, and Twinkle, among others.
Priti has many meanings in Sanskrit such as any pleasurable sensation, with love, out of satisfaction, affection, attraction, and happy. Women everywhere can now help keep our planet Priti- and look good while doing so.
